Spend time with older adults at Cobble Hill Health Center through a fun afternoon of adaptive sports, games, and connection! Teen volunteers will partner with residents to play modified versions of familiar games and activities—such as balloon volleyball, bowling, bean-bag toss, basketball, and other easy-to-adapt games. Volunteers will help set up activities, encourage participation, play alongside residents, and most importantly, spend time getting to know the people they meet. This is a great opportunity for teens who enjoy sports, games, conversation, or simply making people smile. No athletic experience is necessary—just bring a positive attitude, patience, and a willingness to connect with others. What you'll do: Play adaptive games and activities alongside seniors Encourage and cheer on participants Help set up and clean up activities Chat and build connections with residents Help create a fun, welcoming environment Great for: Teens who enjoy sports, games, meeting new people, and making a difference in their community.
